OMAD: One Meal a Day for Fat Loss
OMAD stands for One Meal a Day. It's exactly what it sounds like: you eat one satisfying meal in a window each day and fast the rest of the time. For me, it's the simplest way to stay in fat-burning mode without constantly thinking about food.
Why I Like OMAD
- It's simple. One meal to plan, shop for, and eat — no all-day grazing.
- It keeps you in ketosis. A long daily fast keeps your body burning fat between meals.
- It makes hunger honest. You learn the difference between real hunger and a passing craving.
How to Try It
Make your one meal count — build it around fatty meat, eggs, and seafood so you're genuinely full and getting your protein and nutrients. Drink plenty of water, and don't forget your salt and minerals while you fast.
And remember: OMAD isn't for everybody, and it doesn't have to be all-or-nothing. Keep it flexible. If a longer eating window works better for your life, use it. The goal isn't to suffer — it's to build a simple habit you can commit to and keep.
